The Landing Page is The Most Important Page for Search Engines

Keywords should express your core business Or the business in which you are trying to gain influence.

When your website is designed, your designer uses the most attractive verbiage for readers. Generally they do not optimize for search engines. Integrating your design with a keyword strategy requires a separate step.

There has to be a decision of which words best describe your business and the words customers use to find your type of business.  The next step is to determine how much competition there is for these words to gain top page ranking.  Finally the words have to dominate your Source Code (the words behind the scenes searched by search engines to tell them what is on your site) and then dominate in the copy on your site. (including title, headlines, picture tags, and even your URL)

I usually see great inconsistencies in how words are incorporated into the source code and the website which dilutes the influence for page ranking. For example if you are in the fulfillment business and you see "order fulfillment" as your business, it had better be strong in the Source Code, used in the site copy content, and have a landing page for "order fulfillment" on the site.

Any words chosen in the Source Code or on  the site have to be coordinated between both the code and the copy content and dominate the verbiage short of spamming. It also has to be accomplished so the reader is not distracted from the message.

The Source Code and Site consistency for the keywords are what the Search Engines evaluate before ranking the site for the user making the inquiry.

The value of dominance is higher page ranking and of course gaining market share. The higher you can place in page ranking organically reduces the amount of money that has to be spent on pay per click advertising.

You don't have to be the best on the internet, just better than your competition.

I use several software analytic programs to test the optimization of your site for your keywords, how your site is ranked by the search engines for keywords, how your competitors are doing by comparison, and who your competitors are for those key words.

Fill out the information below with your website URL and your contact information and I will evaluate your site. It usually takes one day. If you would like to participate in a free webinar where we discuss your site, your objectives and what can be initiated to achieve those objectives I can set up a free interactive webinar usually within 2 days.
